We first envisioned our Norse Gnomes during a road trip across Sweden and Norway in 2019. Laura's family migrated from Sweden during the great famine along with a myriad of other families. With them, they brought traditions and mythologies that are alive and well today in our culture. Along with these oral traditions, they brought the arts and crafts used to represent them, and which have been passed down through many generations in her family.

The inspiration for our limited-edition Norse Gnomes comes from the gods and goddesses of Norse mythology. From concept to completion, it takes a full year to assemble the materials and components that comprise each design. Natural materials like sustainably sourced reindeer hide, wood, merino wool-blend felt, papier-mache, and bone comprise many of the components, as well as high quality man-made materials. We meticulously assemble each gnome taking the utmost care to create heirloom quality collectibles worthy of your consideration.
